Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Plumbers to carry out installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installations: Install and upgrade plumbing systems, including pipes, radiators, boilers, water tanks, and associated fixtures.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve issues in plumbing systems, such as leaks, blockages, and equipment malfunctions.
- Heating Systems: Install, service, and repair heating systems, including unvented cylinders and central heating components.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and health and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers, explaining work conducted and providing maintenance advice.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including any inspections or testing carried out.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other trades, such as electricians and retrofit teams, to deliver integrated energy efficiency solutions.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
- Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
- Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing.
- Strong understanding of plumbing regulations and best practices.
- Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
- WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) certification.
- Experience with renewable heating systems, such as air source heat pumps or solar thermal.
- Gas Safe registration or willingness to obtain.
- CSCS card or equivalent.
