Were currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified German Teacher to join one of our partnered secondary schools in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire and support students in developing their modern foreign language skills.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality German lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on the school. Youll create a positive learning environment, support student progress, and contribute to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective German lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

• Contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Specialism in German (a second MFL such as French or Spanish is a bonus).

• Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through us).

• Right to work in the UK.
