Part of the Sapientia Education Trust. Salary - £27,368 - £29,733 actual pa (£31,022 - £33,699 FTE). Temporary - Maternity Cover. Full Time 37 hours per week. Term Time plus two weeks.
Ixworth High School is a small high school set in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. We are part of the Sapientia Educational Trust. Our values are Ready, Respectful and Safe as our standards in behaviour. We expect students to show resilience, take responsibility and to be ambitious in their learning. We were judged as Good in all areas in our Ofsted inspection in April 2025 and saw much improved results this year, we are in the top twenty most improved secondary schools.
The school's vision is to provide an education system that truly serves those it educates by always reflecting on and addressing individual needs, strengths, and interests. There is a Specialist Unit on site for around 20 pupils, supporting pupils with Communication & Interaction needs.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school team as the Headteacher’s PA and Office Manager. As the Headteacher’s PA you will provide a high calibre, confidential and personal service to support the Headteacher in all aspects of their duties. You will act as an ambassador for the School and the Headteacher on all occasions. You will manage the school office and reception ensuring that the office team provides high quality, professional services to staff, parents, visitors and the Trust.
