Conversational AI is transforming how we interact with technology, and your insights are vital to its success. As an AI Chatbot Tester, you will engage directly with cutting-edge conversational models, pushing their boundaries, identifying failure modes, and ensuring they are helpful, coherent, and safe for real-world user interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in extensive conversational testing with AI chatbots, simulating diverse user scenarios and queries.
  • Identify and document instances of incoherent responses, factual inaccuracies, logical inconsistencies, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Test for edge cases, ambiguities, and potential vulnerabilities in AI's understanding and response generation.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback and evaluations on chatbot performance, including suggested improvements for dialogue flow and intent recognition.
  • Evaluate the chatbot's ability to maintain context, personalise interactions, and handle follow-up questions effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of test scripts and evaluation rubrics for conversational AI systems.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for natural, engaging dialogue.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and identifying subtle errors.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT), quality assurance, or customer support is beneficial.
  • Ability to think creatively and anticipate diverse user behaviours and intents.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI concepts, natural language processing (NLP), or prompt engineering is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with evolving technology and providing critical, constructive feedback.
