To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials we are hiring a dedicated
IXI Platform Delivery Lead on a permanent full-time capacity.
Purpose of the Role
This is a high-impact role responsible for managing the cross-functional deliver of new features to IXICO’s cutting-edge imaging platform (IXITM) and managing client-specific configuration and deployment.
Most importantly
- Ensuring on-time and right-first-time feature and platform delivery.
- Creating structure, coordination, and momentum.
- Early identification of risks to achieving defined roadmap milestones and proactively recommending and implementing actions to mitigate these risks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a clear view of the roadmap, from near-term delivery goals to longer-term priorities, helping turn strategy into a controlled and achievable plan.
Delivery planning and execution
- Owns, alongside the VP Business Solutions, delivery of feature releases to agreed timelines, with significant scope to shape how delivery is executed.
- Works with the Associate Director of Imaging Applications to plan and coordinate the deployment schedule in line with incoming client requirements.
- Works cross-functionally to align dependencies, ensure clear roles and responsibilities, resolve blockers, coordinate UATs, and keep momentum behind critical delivery priorities.
- Work closely with the Head of Computer Quality and Software Validation to input to and coordinate validation activities.
Requirement elicitation
- Coordinates requirement intake.
- Supports Business Analysts in shaping the requirement elicitation forums and decisions that determine what gets delivered and when.
- Supports right-first-time delivery through thorough requirements gathering and regular feature demos, improving visibility, enabling early feedback, and driving better outcomes.
- Governs a platform feature prioritisation framework that balances strategic priorities with urgent client and operational needs, ensuring delivery choices support both innovation and business value.
- Plans, leads and structures key meetings, drives clear actions, and ensures follow-through across teams.
Drives operational readiness
- Assesses how new features affect operational workflows and helps teams prepare and train for successful adoption.
- Owns release readiness and change management, including stakeholder engagement, training, and operational preparation.
Measures success
- Defines and tracks KPIs for feature delivery and release performance, helping the business measure what good looks like.
- Monitors delivery performance against agreed metrics such as velocity, bug rates, and UAT pass rates to support continuous improvement.
- Measures post-release adoption, impact, and delivery performance, using insights to strengthen future prioritisation and outcomes.
Drives process improvement
- Uses lessons learned from delivery challenges and day-to-day platform support requests, to improve features, ways of working and strengthen future execution.
- Maps and improves processes across feature development and platform deployment to increase productivity and quality.
Qualifications and skills required for the role
Essential
• Exceptional organisational and project management abilities
- Significant experience in programme management and/or operational delivery within a fast-growing company environment
- An agile highly organised, multi-tasker who can cope with multiple demands on their time
- Proactive, detail-oriented, results-driven mindset with a strong focus on quality.
- Accountable, timeline and delivery driven
- High emotional intelligence and an inclusive approach to leading projects, able to identify how to ‘bring colleagues along’ and align them towards specific goals, whilst managing ‘fear of change’.
- Experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams:
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team and be comfortable with the autonomy and accountability that comes with the role
- An excellent communicator, who enjoys working with different individuals across multiple teams to achieve coordinated programmes with well understood goals and alignment to these goals.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
- Significant experience in process and system improvement within a fast-growing company environment.
Desirable
- Experience working closely with technical teams to support platform delivery and implementation
- Experience working with Dev Ops tools to support delivery, planning, and release management
- Has undertaken formal training in at least one project management/process improvement discipline (e. g. Lean; Six Sigma; Agile; Prince 2)
- Experience working in a health-tech, medtech, or life-sciences software company
- Familiarity with working within a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of GCP, ISO13485, ISO27001 and/or other similar quality systems
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and SOC 3 frameworks and the practical controls needed to support secure, compliant platform delivery
- An engineering background
- Experience with DLPP or similar delivery lifecycle and process frameworks, helping bring structure, control, and repeatability to platform delivery
- Previous experience with company scale-up and change management.
