To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials, we are hiring an experienced and passionate Director Product Management to join our dynamic team on a permanent full-time capacity.

This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and leading the strategy, roadmap, planning, market analysis and product management of IXICO’s advanced imaging platform (IXITM) and associated products. The role bridges Commercial, Science and Technical teams, turning market opportunities, customer needs, clinical and regulatory requirements, user feedback and technical feasibility into clear priorities, investment decisions and measurable outcomes.

The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to stand up the product function in a business moving from established services into productised software offerings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and maintain the product vision and strategy, informed by ongoing market analysis, customer insight, competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap across the platform and product lines, balancing scientific, technical, commercial, customer, regulatory and pricing inputs to align product direction with customer demand, delivery capability and long-term platform strategy.
  • Set clear governance for roadmap inputs, including decision rights, required inputs and a RACI across Product, Commercial, Science and Technology teams.
  • Communicate roadmap choices, trade-offs, progress and product rationale clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional teams, building alignment and accountability.

Product Management and Delivery:

  • Lead product management across the full lifecycle, from concept and business case through development, launch, adoption, optimisation and retirement where needed.
  • Establish a strong Product Management and UX framework, with scope to shape how delivery is planned and executed.
  • Assess where interim external support may be needed to accelerate maturity, close capability gaps and increase delivery pace.
  • Set and manage product planning rhythms, objectives and key results, linking roadmap delivery to measurable business and product outcomes.
  • Build product management capability across the business, working closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners and Scrum teams.

Product Marketing and Commercial Design:

  • Lead product marketing inputs in partnership with Commercial, including positioning, messaging, target use cases, launch readiness and adoption measures.
  • Shape product packaging, pricing tiers, subscription models, contract structures and the commercial design of productised offerings, in partnership with Commercial and Finance stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience operating at Head of Product, Director of Product or equivalent senior leadership level, with responsibility for product strategy, roadmap and delivery.
  • Proven experience leading product management in a platform environment, balancing reusable platform capability with market-specific product needs.
  • Strong domain expertise in a relevant healthcare, life sciences, imaging, medtech, software or data-led environment.
  • Strong capability in market analysis, roadmap development, prioritisation and translating customer and business needs into clear product plans.
  • Experience setting product planning cycles, objectives and key results, and using these to align teams and measure outcomes.
  • Experience shaping product positioning, value proposition and go-to-market inputs in partnership with Commercial or Marketing teams.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders across commercial, technical and scientific or specialist functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data, evidence and judgement to make sound prioritisation decisions.
  • Experience in imaging, clinical technology, software-as-a-service, data platforms or analytics-led product environments.
  • Experience in healthcare, medtech, biotech or contract research settings.
  • Understanding of clinical evidence generation, product compliance, regulatory pathways or quality requirements relevant to healthcare technology products.
  • Experience working with Product Managers and Product Owners in agile delivery models, including clear separation of responsibilities across product, delivery and design roles.
