Job Description:
- Proven experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
- Minimum of 14 years of overall experience.
- Recommended: At least 5 years of experience in DB2 to PostgreSQL migration, with a track record of successfully completed migrations.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and replication.
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PostgreSQL deployments (preferably AWS).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good to have knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture) tools such as Precisely, zDIH, etc.
- Capability to implement CDC in both directions (PostgreSQL → DB2 and DB2 → PostgreSQL).
- Good to have (not mandatory): BluAge certification/knowledge and experience supporting migrations using BluAge Transformation.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
