Contract: 12-Month FTC Role Overview Seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst / MES SME to lead manufacturing system projects, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives.
The role will partner with manufacturing and IT teams to deliver solutions that improve plant performance, efficiency, quality, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities Lead MES projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
Partner with manufacturing teams to identify challenges and deliver practical solutions.
Act as the Manufacturing MES SME for Assembly Operations.
Translate business requirements into solution designs, testing, and implementations.
Drive continuous improvement with plant stakeholders, global teams, and vendors.
Provide support for critical, production-impacting issues when required.
Essential Experience Strong MES experience within discrete/assembly manufacturing.
Proven delivery of projects, upgrades, enhancements, and business improvements beyond production support.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, RCA, and stakeholder management skills.
Confident communication with shop-floor users, manufacturing leadership, and IT teams.
Technical Skills MES: Ignition, Opcenter, Process Builder, Global Process Manager, Machine Integrator, MES Portal.
Databases: Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server; complex SQL development and performance optimization.
Development: Java Script, HTML, CSS, web services.
Configuration: Central Configuration, CSS, Configuration Manager.
Experience with MESERP integration and enterprise/web-based applications.
Strong experience in testing, deployment, upgrades, post-upgrade activities, and SDLC.
Agile delivery experience and strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with real-time production support.
