We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Manufacturing Site, taking full responsibility for all of our material inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, manage material turnover and define efficient stock locations alongside the full goods-in and despatch process. You will be responsible for the full goods inwards and despatch process for the factory, managing the full co-ordination of our consumables on our site. This role is crucial to ensuring the inventory for the assembly site is accurate, that stocks are rotated and that all materials are accessible and strategically located to support our efficient manufacturing processes. You will need to be organised, hard-working and have a drive to deliver for our customers and maintain our service levels. This is a role that must be completed with a high degree of accuracy, so it is important that you have a keen eye for detail. We are looking for diligent candidates with excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is not essential.

The Role:
- Full oversight, responsibility and co-ordination for all site stock inclusive of turnover and rotation using FIFO.
- Responsible for organising site materials and finished products in despatch on time and in full.
- Delivery of the Sites Stock Check Programme.
- Responsibility for the full goods inwards and outwards delivery and despatching accuracy and within the agreed service level.
- To supervise the efforts of the goods-in role.
- Ensuring that intercompany and sub-contractor outbound despatching process is completed accurately and timely.
- Responsibility for the return of Supplier Stillages, Pallets and Rejected Material in conjunction with Site Quality Technician is achieved at pace.
- Coordination of Consumables on Site and providing root cause analysis and corrective action of stock anomalies when required.
- Delivery of Training and Action plans to Goods Inwards and Despatch Team.
- Investigate and establish corrective actions and 8D responses for warehouse related non-conformances, where appropriate.
- Responsibility for maintaining and replenishing the correct stock levels inclusive of storage of our consumable items inclusive of PPE.
- To maintain high standards of data accuracy in relation to stock adjustments and stock allocation.
The Person:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate well at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task and proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to take initiative and comfortably respond to any queries, working closely with other members of materials and site management team.
- A good level of computer literacy is desirable for the role.
- Experience of stock taking and knowledge of Inventory Management and Production Control computer systems.
- A good working knowledge of general stores procedures (receipt, kitting, despatch etc.).
- Have the ability to pick stock accurately.
- The ability to drive change in a positive manner.
