Bevtrac is a 15 market consumer usage and attitude study of beverage alcohol behaviour and contextual attitudes, reporting twice a year, with narrative and call-outs tied into the key trends coming out of the database research. Its twice-yearly outputs are market-level reports, a global management summary, and an interactive dashboard operating within the IWSR’s Client Platform. Since launch in 2023, Bevtrac has become the most successful new product in IWSR’s history, achieving strong uptake among IWSR’s base of global beverage alcohol producer clients.

Role Description

We need an inspirational consumer research expert and storyteller to build on the success of Bevtrac so far and drive further client engagement and use cases. Bevtrac is one of the leading growth products of IWSR and is a major focus for the business in 2026. The role requires a combination of strong technical skills, initiative and working closely within a cross-functional insights team. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Insights you will have ultimate responsibility for the management and delivery of this vital syndicated asset.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and collaborating with a cross-functional team to create, field, analyse and deliver twice-yearly consumer insights reporting
  • Contribution to overall company executive briefings for C-suite level within our key clients
  • Working with the Group-level Data and IT teams, and external contractors to continue to improve the Bevtrac Dashboard and other user interfaces
  • Working with the client advisory group to build improvements to the product and help increase usage levels among larger insights teams within the client base
  • Leading the development and optimisation of the product in terms of possible new markets, new types of reporting and new questions

Reporting to: Head of Consumer Insights

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should have:

  • Demonstrable analysis and project leadership skills within a consumer insights environment
  • Advanced understanding of quantitative, survey research techniques and fieldwork processes
  • Demonstrated track record in producing and delivering high quality consumer insight to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of successful innovation and product development
  • Ability to collaborate and motivate across a team and manage to strict deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience in successful product development and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrable client relationship management experience at a senior level
  • People management skills are essential, both directly and indirectly managing people
