IWS Water Hygiene (WH) is part of SSI Services (UK) Ltd, a division of South Staffordshire Plc. WH provides services in all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control, including legionella risk assessments for the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers. The role is based in Crayford, Kent but the work area covers London and the South East.
This siteâbased role delivers a range of water hygiene related services in accordance with current legislation and UK water regulations. The position requires flexibility; you will organise your own workload daily and work efficiently on your own initiative. It is a manual job involving driving a works vehicle, lifting, stretching and bending, and working in accordance with industryâleading bestâpractice Health & Safety specifications.
Requirements
- Must be able to work remotely
- Previous experience of working within L8 guidance
- Cleaning & disinfection of hot and coldâwater systems would be an advantage
- Work history of legionella controls: 1 year
- Working as water hygiene technician: 1 year
- Full and valid manual UK driving licence
