Bid Administrator

IWS Water Hygiene is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Administrator to support our tendering process across the UK. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth administration, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids that align with our business goals. The Role
As a Bid Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end administration of tender portals and supporting the bid team with timely and accurate documentation. Your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Search and identify tenders that align with IWS Water Hygiene’s business profile
- Complete pre-qualification checks and liaise with business leaders for go/no-go decisions
- Set up tender files and manage return documentation
- Log and track tender queries, ensuring timely responses are shared with the bid team
- Complete standard questionnaires using approved company data
- Upload required attachments, including quality and pricing documents
- Maintain and update the tender planner with new opportunities, deadlines, and action plans
- Monitor tender inboxes and communicate updates to the bid team
- Assist the Bid Manager with data collation, library searches, and information gathering
- Ensure CRM is updated with relevant sales lead information
- Create and maintain tender folders with proper version control
- Notify bid teams of new documents and updates
- Track and report on tender performance metrics
What You’ll Need
- Experience in creative writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce persuasive content
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- A desire to grow into a Bid Management role
- Experience in a technical service industry (preferred but not essential)
