An exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Operative to join our team in Wallingford. This is an excellent opportunity operative to learn new skills and progress a career within the utilities/water industry. This is a challenging role within a fast-paced environment, therefore, completing tasks with a ‘right first time’ approach will be a key factor.

What’s The Role
- Installing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical apparatus and associated equipment.
- Installation and maintenance of water related pumping plant, pipework and associated control equipment
- Working on pumping plant infrastructure, split case pumps, vertical turbine pumps
- Working in accordance to our health & safety policy and safe systems of work.
What You Will Need
- Mechanical or Electrical experience would be advantageous
- Extremely self-motivated individual, with a willingness to learn, be able to demonstrate initiative and work as part of a team.
- A full driving clean licence is required for this role.
- Require flexible working hours and business travel
