An exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Operative to join our team in Wallingford. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and progress a career within the utilities/water industry. This is a challenging role within a fast-paced environment, therefore, completing tasks with a ‘right first time’ approach will be a key factor. This is an exciting opportunity to assist on our most high-profile projects and enhance your career to the next level with a group that’s experiencing major growth.

What’s the role:

  • Installing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical apparatus and associated equipment.
  • Installation and maintenance of water related pumping plant, pipework and associated control equipment.
  • Working on pumping plant infrastructure, split case pumps, vertical turbine pumps.
  • Working in accordance to our health & safety policy and safe systems of work.

What you will need:

  • Mechanical or Electrical experience would be advantageous.
  • Extremely self-motivated individual, with a willingness to learn, able to demonstrate initiative and work as part of a team.
  • A full driving clean license is required for this role.
  • Require flexible working hours and business travel.
