The Project Manager role is a new position to support IWS M&E with the continued growth in the Essex & Suffolk region for key framework clients, delivering nonâinfra capital works to our clients in the water sector. The role will report directly to the IWS Senior Project Manager in the region and be based out of our new North Essex office.
Responsibilities
- Providing project management for multiple projects in the region based on NEC3 / 4 contracts.
- Working closely with the IWS M&E Commercial team to provide timely updates for forecasting, early warnings, change control and compensation events.
- Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, internal governance, processes, and a commitment to our 'Staying safe together' Health & Safety values.
- Collaborating with the project sponsor, crossâfunctional teams and assigned engineering, design and operational support to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and timing for new projects.
- Managing the project programme, updating and ensuring monthly programme submissions for projects.
- Attending and supporting client meetings.
- Providing a monthly Project summary dashboard.
- Building rapport with the client capital and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in the water sector (potable).
- Track record of delivering projects.
- Experience of budget and financial management.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations & duties and NEC contracts.
- Strong problemâsolving skills with an enthusiastic commitment to deliver excellent customer service.
