We're looking for a Broker Relationship Manager.

The company Imagine a world where every small business has the power to thrive. That's the world we're building at iwoca. Small businesses aren't just statistics - they're the heartbeat of our communities, the character of our high streets, and the engine of our economy. Since 2012, we've revolutionised how these businesses access finance, turning what was once a lengthy, frustrating process into something remarkable: funding that's fast, flexible, and actually works for modern businesses. Our impact speaks for itself: we've provided billions in funding to over 150,000 businesses across Europe, making us one of the continent's leading fintech innovators. But we're just getting started. Our mission? To empower one million businesses with the financial tools they deserve. We combine cutting-edge technology and data science with genuine human understanding to make finance feel less like a barrier and more like a superpower. Whether it's managing cash flow or seizing unexpected opportunities, we ensure businesses get the funds they need - often within minutes. As we deepen our relationship with customers, insurance feels like a natural next step: it's a critical piece of the financial puzzle for small businesses, and one that's often underserved. We're bringing the same customer obsession, data-driven approach, and innovative mindset to the world of SME insurance - starting from first principles to build something that really works for modern businesses.

The role Responsibilities:

  • Predominantly building iwoca's presence across the UK via proactive engagement and activation of existing iwoca brokers.
  • Managing and maintaining broker relationships through proactive communication, presentations and face to face interaction to encourage relevant signups and ultimately fundings.
  • Educating brokers and running training sessions where appropriate to ensure they send us relevant customers and documentation.
  • Analysing individual broker and panel performance and reporting this back to the relevant brokers/internal iwoca teams.
  • Researching and searching for, acquiring and building new relationships with relevant brokers both by face to face, telephone, LinkedIn and email.
  • Representing iwoca in the right way to third parties, maintaining professionalism throughout.
  • Organising and conducting broker regional events and webinars.
  • To maximise target contribution through calling and converting approvals from their panel, gathering feedback on these offers from brokers.
  • To develop an understanding of iwoca's systems, processes and policies so that you can best advise the broker.
  • Collection of competitor intel through broker discussions, and presenting this back to the wider business to drive change, develop and improve our product offering.

The requirements:

  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks and diary.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with a professional phone manner.
  • Competent in preparing and delivering meetings and presentations in person and virtually through webinars.
  • Not adverse to travel - the role will require you to travel via car and/or train and may involve overnight stays.
  • Pride in personal contribution but also a team player.
  • A 'people person' who is genuinely interested in developing relationships.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to take on new responsibilities or tasks and complete them to a high level.
