The Performance Marketing team sits within the wider Direct Acquisition team, which also includes sales and brand. We are responsible for supporting the top of funnel growth of our core lending business across a number of offline and online channels from Mail to Search and Social.
We’re looking to hire a junior marketer to manage our Paid Social creative process and work with our senior paid social manager to scale the overall channel across a number of different platforms. We’ve seen considerable growth in the past year, but need to expand the team to ensure we can effectively double down on our winning creative strategy. In this role you’ll help run our campaigns across Meta, Linkedin, and TikTok, manage a pipeline of new creative with a combination of in-house and agency design resources and help us scope out new opportunities to drive customer growth via paid media.
We envision the role mostly breaking down into the following 2x areas:
- Owning paid social creative pipeline
- Work with the Senior Paid Social manager to define our overall creative strategy in the channel, pulling customer insights and translating them into clear creative direction.
- Own the pipeline of new creative with various in-house designers and external agency resources, with support from Senior Paid Social manager.
- Work with our contacts at Meta, Linkedin, and TikTok to better monitor creative fatigue and inform creative launch strategy.
- Collaborate with our growing Brand & Design function to level up our creative in line with our evolving brand strategy.
- Take ownership of our competitor tracking across digital channels to ensure our creative strategy is informed by wider industry benchmarks.
- Campaign management and optimisation
- Build and manage campaigns across Meta, Linkedin, and TikTok ads manager.
- Monitor and optimise performance across platforms, creative assets, landing pages etc.
- Report channel performance on a weekly/monthly basis to wider team stakeholders.
- Own dashboards in Looker, leveraging our channel data for efficient test monitoring.
- Explore new opportunities that within and outside the channel that help bring our performance marketing to the next level.
Requirements
Essential:
- A love of storytelling and a passion for content on social media, and eager to turn ideas into reality.
- A creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative, compelling ideas to drive new customer acquisition.
- Naturally curious and keen to learn from the wider team.
- Strong copywriting skills and an excellent eye for detail.
- An ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Well organised, able to effectively manage their time in accordance with priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen.
Preferred:
- Experience working with social media creative, including partnerships with influencers and creators.
The salary
We expect to pay from £30,000 - £40,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
