You will build and scale manda's introducer network to bring business owners ready to sell.

You’ll work with accountants, solicitors, wealth managers and brokers to generate a steady flow of referrals, starting from near-zero and designing a low-friction referral process.

Your role blends business development with channel management, turning partnerships into measurable leads and signed mandates.

You’ll align with iwoca’s SME financing footprint to unlock a scalable, partner-driven M&A pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Build and prioritise an introducer network across accountancy, corporate finance, solicitors, wealth managers, and business transfer agents
  • Identify high-potential firms, win partnerships, run outbound outreach, and manage post-signing relationship momentum
  • Design referral mechanics, partner incentives, and reporting processes to keep partners informed
  • Convert partnerships into real referrals via regular communication, briefings, and CRM discipline
  • Track referral volume and quality by partner, and prune underperforming relationships
  • Identify and evaluate partner technologies and integrations to streamline referrals
  • Target firms with large client books and scale through surface-to-bulk opportunities
  • Collaborate with iwoca's broker network and partnerships function to leverage existing relationships
  • Create and manage events programmes for succession planning, adviser networks, and owner communities
  • Establish and quantify referral costs and conversions to validate the channel's viability
  • Key requirements
  • 4+ years in partnerships, channel, or business development in B2B, building or scaling a referral channel
  • Full-cycle deal experience: identify target firms, secure meetings, negotiate terms, and manage ongoing relationships
  • Background in M&A, marketplaces, business broking or business transfer
  • Disciplined, long-term channel maintenance beyond initial signing
  • Numerate and transparent about performance; tracks referrals by partner
  • Systems thinking plus relationship-building; prefers automation over manual work
  • Comfort specifying technology needs without building it; can scope for product teams
  • Hands-on, can build target lists, conduct outreach, run meetings, and maintain CRM
  • Commercial thinker with bias for action; agile in an early-stage setting
