The teamThe FP&A team is responsible for driving strategic decision making through forecasting, analysis and reporting performance. You'll work closely with the FP&A Manager and will also work with the wider finance team as well as other functions across iwoca. The roleYou'll translate complex financial data into useful management information and produce annual budgets aiding long-term planning and growth. Operational FP&APreparation of the monthly operating model, including reconciliations to accounting software and posting of journals required to complete the model;Assisting in the development and maintenance of data pipelines;Assisting in preparation of monthly Board documentation and interim and year-end Budget documents;Identifying and building datasets to compliment the enhancement of the monthly operating model;Understand reporting requirements for each department to increase quality of communication across the business.;Reporting to external stakeholdersUses AI tools to explore data, generate insights, and improve workflows, driving faster and more accurate analysisData engineering and product developmentContribute to the build out of iwoca's forecasting platformDesign features, using AI tools to test and buildIntegrate with other third-party tools e.g. Looker, Snowflake and NetSuiteThe requirementsGood analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detailA growth mindset and be able to improve and develop our processes as we growBe able to work to deadlines and manage stakeholder expectationsBe able to learn quickly and embrace change - we are an innovative, fast growing company and always coming up with new ideasProficient user of excelExperience with Looker, Snowflake or equivalent would be desirableWillingness and curiosity to leverage AI to maximise quality, speed and rigourOur approach to working from home is a 'hybrid' one, we will expect you to attend the London office twice a week.
