The Brand team sits within the wider Direct Acquisition team, which also includes sales and marketing. The Brand team is relatively new and is tasked with ensuring we show up consistently, with authority and credibility. Itâs also responsible for creating demand at the top of the funnel, as well as empowering marketing, sales, and the wider business.
Weâre looking for an experienced website designer to own and steward the visual identity of our customer facing website. This includes ensuring it looks great, showcases our brand, supports our conversion strategy, and reflects our position as one of the UKâs leading fintechs. Youâll manage and evolve our website design system in Webflow, while also designing ad hoc layouts and one-off pages as needed. Youâll be the goâto person for visual assets, such as images and compositions, that fit seamlessly within our defined website components, ensuring everything is consistent, scalable, and easy to update. Youâll also collaborate closely with the Senior Website Owner and teams across the business to bring our brand to life online. This role also involves handsâon implementation, so while direct Webflow experience isnât required, we expect a strong candidate to have a good experience of frontâend development principles and to be comfortable bringing systematic designs to life in the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Drive our siteâs visual identity
- Lead the evolution of our website design system, identifying opportunities and turning research into highâfidelity, highâconverting digital experiences
- Design and implement reusable components and templates for Webflow that empower other team members to create their own pages
- Work with the Senior Website Owner and other channel owners to design pages, components, and visual assets such as images and compositions
- Tap into the community of iwoca designers and frontend engineers to work on solutions and develop your skill set
- Work closely with the Head of Brand and Senior Website Owner to ensure all site design projects align with our strategic business goals and individual user needs
- Bring iwocaâs growing product story to life as we introduce new products and ventures, helping shape how we present our expanding offerings to customers on the website

Requirements:
Essential:
- You enjoy creating and maintaining scalable design systems and components, as well as designing oneâoff pages.
- You have experience working with a component system and understand how to apply it consistently across a site.
- You confidently apply creative thinking to responsive layouts, components, and interactions, while grounding your work in solid UI and digital design best practice.
- You have strong collaboration and communication skills and can work effectively with other designers, developers and project managers.
- Familiar with frontâend development, including using HTML and CSS.
- Proficient designing in Figma.
Preferred:
- Comfortable designing and building components and pages in Webflow.
- Experience working with the Lumos framework.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning and maintaining brand consistency across channels.
- Youâre experienced developing accessible designs that work across devices and meet a11y best practices.
- Experience working with contentâheavy websites.
- Experience conducting user research and leveraging insights into design decisions.
- Experience with animation and interaction design.
- Experience working in the B2B space.
The salary: We expect to pay from ÂŁ35,000 - ÂŁ60,000 for this role. But, weâre open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
