The Acquisition Strategy and Tech team is the growth engine for iwoca in Germany, bridging high-level commercial strategy and technical systems. The team focuses on:
- Strategic Growth & Analytics: Serving as the central hub for Direct Marketing and Sales channels, translating complex data into actionable strategies.
- Technical Infrastructure: Building and maintaining proprietary systems that drive German operations, optimising User Experience (UX) for small businesses.
- Operational Excellence: Connecting data-driven decision-making with real-world commercial impact.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data, and technology. You will lead a high-performing team and own acquisition and activation outcomes for the German market, co-defining the growth strategy and partnering with engineering and data teams.
Market and problem understanding:
- Understand the German SME lending landscape and customer needs.
- Translate market insights into defined product problems and commercial opportunities.
- Inform targeting and segmentation strategies for Marketing and Sales.
Product build and optimisation:
- Own the roadmap for acquisition and onboarding.
- Work with marketing and sales to evolve website content and increase conversion.
- Influence future team capability by defining priorities and processes.
Experimentation and insight:
- Design, run, and interpret A/B tests across various tools and product flows.
