The team is growing fast, and more customers means more credit decisions. Our credit team is expanding and we’re looking for experienced analysts to assess our customers in a fast, fair and accurate way.

The role includes:

  • Assessing credit applications – using your experience, a variety of data sources and our tech platform to make fast, fair and accurate decisions.
  • Having autonomy in decisioning, the scope of which will increase over time as you build knowledge of our systems and processes.
  • Supporting other analysts on larger and more complex decisions, which is a key part of our workflow.
  • Working alongside our analytics teams to optimise our approach to lending and adapt your own approach in line with that goal.

The requirements include:

  • Demonstrating curiosity to use and learn more about AI tools. Comfortable using AI tools in practical ways to solve problems, increase productivity, improve quality of work, and explain reasoning behind them.
  • Being smart, humble, motivated and always looking to improve.
  • Knowledge of foundational finance and accounting principles, whether acquired academically or through an internship.
  • Strong business acumen and working understanding of the risk and revenue drivers that influence creditworthiness of a loan application.
  • Fluency in German, C1 level.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
  • A motivated and enthusiastic attitude that works well in a regularly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including direct telephone contact with customers, daily interaction within credit decisioning, and regular contact with other teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • An analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem solving. Create innovative, scalable solutions to day-to-day problems and suggest process improvements.

The salary is expected to be from £32,000 — £45,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
