The Team
Our Operations teams strive to deliver exceptional customer service. The Operations Strategy team works to understand performance, drive efficiencies, and improve customer service, collaborating with Customer Success, Credit Analysts, Collections & Legal, and People Operations to identify opportunities and deliver impact.
The Role
As an Operations Strategy Manager, you will support the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and service quality across our Operations teams, while supporting iwoca\’s profitable growth. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Operations to solve critical business problems.
- Explore use of AI to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Forecast capacity needs for each team to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Evaluate when to contact customers in the journey and test approaches.
- Perform data analysis and collaborate with Operations Strategy Data Scientists to leverage data for decisions.
- Implement operational changes in coordination with Operations and Tech teams.
- Understand strategic developments and assess impact on Operations, adapting processes for future strategies.
- Contribute to shaping iwoca’s People strategy by analyzing benefits to ensure value for money.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in a top-tier strategy consultancy or a strategic role at a tech or finance company.
- Strong analytical background (STEM degree or equivalent) and professional experience.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to propose innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to implement findings across the business; hands-on and collaborative.
- Ability to distill complex information into clear points for diverse stakeholders (Data Scientists, operations managers, C-level, etc.).
Bonus
- Experience with Python or SQL; enthusiasm to learn on the job.
- Proven experience driving operational excellence.
The Salary
We expect to pay from £70,000 – £90,000 for this role and encourage applicants to include salary goals. We benchmark against market rates and conduct quarterly performance and salary reviews.
