Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don't wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. To keep going, and growing, SMEs need finance that's as flexible and responsive as they are. That's why we built iwoca. Our smart technology, data science and five-star customer service ensures business owners can act with the speed, confidence and control they need, exactly when it's needed. We've already cleared the way for 100,000 businesses with more than £4 billion in funding. Our passionate team is driven to help even more SMEs succeed, through access to better finance and other services that make running a business easier. Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive.

The team: Join our Broker Account Management team, a dynamic and close-knit group of 7 professionals spanning three major European cities: Berlin, Frankfurt, and London.

The role: This is a dynamic, commercial role where you will be the primary driver of our broker channel's success. You will own a portfolio of finance brokers and advisors, and your mission is to build strong, productive partnerships. You'll be part relationship-builder and part problem-solver responsible for growing your account and guiding large loan applications from start to finish.

Your responsibilities:

  • Build & Grow Your Partnerships: Proactively engage your portfolio of brokers. You'll become their trusted Iwoca expert, training them on our products and making it simple for them to find solutions for their clients.
  • Own the Deal Pipeline: You are the "fixer." When needed, you'll shepherd loan applications from submission to funding, collaborating with our credit teams to find solutions and get deals over the line.
  • Drive and Convert Opportunities: You will actively manage the pipeline of open quotes, following up with your brokers to provide support, answer questions, and help turn potential interest into a funded loan.
  • Be the Voice of Iwoca: You'll be the go-to expert for your partners, answering their questions about complex cases, our products, and our risk appetite.
  • Build Relationships that last: You'll build genuine, long-term trust with your brokers, helping them solve their clients' problems and, in turn, grow their own businesses.

The most important things about you: We're more interested in your mindset and potential than a perfect checklist of experience. The most successful people in this role tend to be:

  • Motivated by Goals: You're driven to meet targets (KPIs) and find satisfaction in seeing your work lead to real business growth.
  • Natural Relationship-Builders: You build rapport quickly and genuinely enjoy turning a new contact into a lasting, trusted partner.
  • Proactive Problem-Solvers: When you see a problem (like a stuck application), your first instinct is to dive in, find a solution, and get it done.
  • Commercially Minded: You have a strong understanding of (or a deep curiosity about) how brokers and businesses operate.
  • Clear Communicators: You can represent Iwoca professionally and clearly in all your interactions.

The salary: We want to pay all of our employees fairly. That's why we regularly conduct salary comparisons based on market prices and to recognize your increasing value to our company. We offer a salary from €34,000 to €49,000 + a performance-based bonus (OTE bonus 10%).

Are you interested in the position but think you don't yet meet all the requirements? No problem. We strongly believe in personal development. If the position appeals to you, we would be happy to hear from you, even if you do not yet meet all the points on the list.

The culture: At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the professional development of our team members. We value diversity in thought and skill, and encourage you to explore new areas of interest to help us improve our products and services.

The offices: We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a brilliant place to work: Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks. Events and clubs, like bingo, comedy nights, yoga classes, football, etc.

The benefits: A smart, motivated and international team (we represent over 35 different nationalities) with ridiculous growth-mindset. 26 days of vacation a year plus a free day for your birthday. One-month fully paid sabbatical after 4 years. Mental health support with direct access to certified psychologists via our partner OpenUp. iwoca takes over a ski chalet in winter so that you and your team can ski or snowboard (and work) for a week. During summer we are drawn to the sun. We've been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield. Access to the gym membership program, €25 for either Fit711 or Urban Sports Club. Company Pension with Canada Life. Great office locations. In Frankfurt in the middle of the city, our Berlin office is located in Prenzlauer Berg. A paid volunteer day that gives you the opportunity to invest time to support a charity of your choice. 'iwocans' also benefit from fully stocked fridges in our offices with whatever is needed to strengthen them. There are snacks (both healthy and less healthy) for the whole day. And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer: A learning and development budget for everyone, including a book budget. Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers. Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
