Are you an experienced HSE professional looking to take ownership of health, safety and environmental compliance within a leading electronics manufacturing business?
We are seeking a proactive HSE & Facilities Manager to drive a safety–first culture, ensure statutory compliance and oversee day–to–day site operations. Strong COSHH knowledge and experience is a key requirement, alongside hands–on experience in risk assessments, incident investigations and environmental management.
Facilities management exposure would be ideal, although this is not essential. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the site's infrastructure, compliance programmes and wider HSE performance within a busy manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the HSE & Facilities Manager will include:
- Lead HSE initiatives to embed a safety–first and environmentally responsible culture
- Manage and improve site facilities, including statutory compliance and infrastructure management
- Oversee incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on health, safety, and site facilities projects
- Ensure compliance with all environmental permits and regulations, representing the organisation to regulators
The ideal HSE & Facilities Manager will have:
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation: ISO 45001, 14001, COSHH and DSEAR
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Proven ability to lead environmental and safety compliance initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail
