Are you an experienced SIA Licensed Services or Facilities Manager looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a proactive and hands–on Soft Services Manager to oversee the delivery of security and cleaning services within a busy, customer facing environment. This is a varied leadership role where you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming site while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance and customer service. Working closely with operational teams and site management, you'll lead security and cleaning colleagues, oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day–to–day delivery of integrated security and cleaning services
- Manage, motivate and develop security officers, cleaning operatives and supervisors
- Plan staff rotas, resource allocation and daily operational priorities
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness across all public and back–of–house areas
- Oversee incident response, emergency procedures and site security operations
- Carry out regular quality inspections, audits and compliance checks
- Ensure health and safety, COSHH adherence
- Manage contractor access, visitor safety and operational activities across the site
- Produce accurate reports on incidents, performance, staffing and service delivery
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs and service standards, implementing improvements where required
- Manage staffing levels, attendance, training, performance and employee development
- Control labour, overtime, consumables and operational budgets
Skills, Experience & Training Requirements
- Previous experience managing soft services, facilities management, security or cleaning operations within a busy commercial or public facing environment
- Proven leadership experience managing multi–disciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of security operations, cleaning standards and health and safety legislation
- Experience managing incidents, investigations and emergency situations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current SIA Front Line Licence is essential
- Leadership qualification such as ILM, CMI, NVQ or equivalent would be advantageous
- IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid or BICSc qualifications would be beneficial
