Location: Surbiton with occasional travel between local sites, must be able to drive
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary: GBP40k to GBP45k, plus parking, pension, employee discounts on all sites and 28 days holiday plus annual bonus package (GBP53k OTE) and free on–site gym!

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee engineering, facilities, and maintenance operations across a growing portfolio of 4 hospitality sites (all local within the area). This is an exciting opportunity for a hands–on Maintenance & Facilities professional who thrives in a fast–paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and well–maintained properties that support exceptional guest experiences.
Overview:
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering and maintenance across the group, ensuring properties remain compliant, safe, and operationally efficient. You will lead preventative maintenance programmes (PPM), oversee reactive maintenance, manage contractors, support refurbishment projects, and drive energy efficiency initiatives across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering & Maintenance – manage all maintenance operations including building services, PPM and reactive maintenance issues.
- Compliance, Health & Safety – ensure full compliance and conduct risk assessments.
- Leadership & Team Management – lead maintenance teams across sites and performance reviews.
- Budget & Contractor Management – support budgets, monitor spend and manage supplier relationships.
- Sustainability & Energy Management – Identify and implement energy saving initiatives and monitor consumption.
- Project & Refurbishment Control – support refurbishments and projects across the group.
What We Need:
- Experience in facilities maintenance or engineering management.
- Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance operations.
- Excellent understanding of UK health & safety and statutory compliance.
- Proven contractor and supplier management experience.
- Strong organisational and problem–solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
