The Great Oakley Estate, Northamptonshire

The Great Oakley Estate in Northamptonshire has been owned by one family in continuous ownership since 1575, with further landholdings in Rutland and Leicestershire, and also assets in London and Ireland.

The Estate is also home to the multi‑award‑winning educational charity, The Brooke Weston Trust, where, across 12 schools, over 10,000 children are educated, spanning all ages from 3 to 18. All 12 Brooke Weston schools are rated by OFSTED as outstanding or good, Sir Norman Foster designed the Trust's second school, The Corby Business Academy.

The Estate is a highly diverse business, with in‑hand farms, let farms, and a range of other agricultural enterprises. Outside of agriculture, the Estate is heavily involved in some of the UK's largest real estate projects, and since 2016 has created a dedicated department to look after those interests.

Profound change in the years ahead will take place within the group, and the family are seeking to bolster an already busy Estate office with a high‑calibre individual who is capable of working within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, whilst respecting the longevity and tradition of the family.

Reporting directly to the CEO, who is a member of the family, you will already be MRICS qualified, having spent at least three years since qualification with a firm or on the client side. The successful candidate will play a key role across a number of high‑profile projects.
