The Opportunity
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of Hard FM contracts across commercial buildings, taking responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial performance. This role combines technical leadership, financial management and strategic client relationship development. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their objectives, oversee engineering teams, coordinate maintenance and project works, identify opportunities to improve building performance and ensure contracts continue to deliver outstanding value.

Key Responsibilities
As Contract Manager you will:
- Manage a portfolio of Hard FM contracts across commercial properties
- Build long‑term relationships with key client stakeholders
- Chair regular client review meetings
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance delivery
- Coordinate engineering and specialist subcontractor teams
- Manage project delivery from planning through to completion
- Ensure contracts are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Monitor financial performance, profitability and WIP reporting
- Produce contract forecasts and budget reports
- Identify opportunities for additional works and service improvements
- Prepare quotations and support tender submissions
- Advise clients on compliance, asset lifecycle planning and building improvements
- Coordinate Principal Contractor responsibilities where required
- Ensure all Health & Safety legislation and company policies are fully complied with
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Projects and Account Management teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
What they're looking for
To succeed in this role you’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing Hard Facilities Management contracts
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and Building Services
- Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, profitability and forecasting
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Experience delivering maintenance contracts and small works projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, HNC/HND, SMSTS or recognised Building Services qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Location & Travel
This role is based from West London and covers commercial client sites across London, Berkshire and Hampshire. Travel between client sites forms part of the role, with flexibility to work from home when operationally appropriate.
