Job Title: Assistant Facilities Manager


Location: St Helens (WA9)


Salary: 40,000 per annum


Hours: Monday- Friday 08:30- 17:00


Contract: Permanent


Our client is a global leader in glass manufacturing in Architectural, Automotive and Creative Technology and are looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team.


Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and will liaise and coordinate efforts between on-site permanent contractors and temporary contractors as required.


As an Assistant Facilities Manager your duties will be:



  • Planning and implementing routine maintenance.

  • Communicating and coordinating with internal colleagues and contractors.

  • Ensuring all work complies to legislative requirements.

  • Updating site drawings as required.

  • Supervising electrical inspections and keeping appropriate records.

  • Prioritising workloads.


The successful Assistant Facilities Manager will have the following skills:



  • Experience of electrical wiring installations including single and three phase supply distribution.

  • Must be computer literate with all Microsoft applications.

  • HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

  • Have Auto CAD experience.

  • Confident communicator and able to clearly and professionally communicate with wide verity of personnel.
