We are looking for a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth running, maintenance, and development of our client's premises. Reporting directly to the Board, you will ensure our facilities are safe, compliant, efficient, and supportive of day-to-day business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary key holder and respond to out-of-hours alarms.
  • Manage building maintenance schedules, audits, repairs and refurbishments.
  • Oversee contractors: sourcing quotes, negotiating value, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
  • Lead facilities projects from planning to completion.
  • Maintain service and maintenance contracts (HVAC, alarms, boilers, etc.).
  • Prepare annual budgets and provide regular updates to the Board.
  • Handle internal facilities queries and manage the Facilities Assistant.
  • Support desk moves, inductions, health & safety actions and equipment servicing.
  • Maintain asset records, leases, utilities information and compliance documentation.

About You:

  • Strong experience in facilities management within a commercial setting.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident managing budgets, contractors and multiple tasks at once.
  • Good knowledge of building regulations, CDM and health & safety requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • IWFM membership or relevant qualifications are desirable.
