My client, a niche Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager to oversee operations of a site in excess of 250,000 sq ft. It is key that you are "customer focused". You will be required to implement all process procedures for the site and have an Assistant Building Manager (ABM) that will report to you.

You will have previous experience in managing a site of a similar scale, as well as exposure to setting and managing service charge budgets and overseeing health and safety on site. Therefore, an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is essential, along with driving ESG initiatives and overseeing fit-out works.

As well as managing service partners on site, you will be required to engage with the end users (tenants) on a daily basis. It is imperative that clear lines of communication are forged, whether written or verbal, in order to operate this flagship site. The level of service delivery is very much focused on the tenant experience and partnering with service partners to create a 'one team ethos', so being “customer centric” is vital to this role.

There is an opportunity to get involved in other developments should the opportunity present itself. This is an organisation that invests in their employees and ensures their careers develop too.
