My client, a niche Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager to oversee operations of a site in excess of 290,000 sq ft. It is key that you are customer focused. You will be required to put in all process procedures for the site and have an ABM that will report into you.

You will have previous experience in looking after a site of a similar scale as well as exposure to setting and managing service charge budgets, as well as overseeing health and safety on site; therefore, an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is essential. You will also be driving ESG initiatives and overseeing fit-out works.

As well as management of service partners on site, you will be required to engage with the end users (tenants) on a daily basis. It is imperative that clear lines of communication are forged, whether written or verbal, in order to operate this flagship site. The level of service delivery is very much focused on the tenant experience and partnering with service partners to create a ‘one team ethos’, so being customer centric is vital to this role.

There is an opportunity to get involved in other developments should the opportunity present itself. This is an organisation that invests in their employees and ensures their careers develop too.
