Established for over 40 years, the group has recently acquired several brokerages, uniting reputable brands into their network. Their continued growth has led to the hiring of a new Senior Commercial Broker for their North Manchester office as part of the senior team.

The Role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Handlers to provide tailored insurance solutions across commercial lines
- Manage an existing portfolio of long-standing clients and develop new business through networking, prospecting, and marketing
- Understand clients’ business operations, risks, and opportunities to build trusted relationships
- Handle the selling, processing, and administration of contracts, renewals, and MTAs, and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities
- Negotiate with underwriters to find suitable insurance products for clients
- Work with Directors to drive branch profitability, ensuring recommendations meet client needs
- Support team members’ development and handle day-to-day queries from clients and insurers
About You
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker, such as a Senior Broker, Broking Manager, Branch Manager, or Account Executive
- Existing client base to help grow the book of business is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of commercial insurance products and services
- Experience with Acturis is advantageous
- CII qualification is desirable
- Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong PC skills
