Do you have financial experience? Worsley's Almshouses, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) administered by six voluntary trustees, is currently seeking a new trustee to cover the role of Treasurer. The Almshouses in Crocker Street, Newport, are unfurnished dwellings aimed to provide single accommodation, within the confines of Grade II Listed Buildings, for individuals eligible under the Trust Deed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records and manage bank accounts
- Pay all invoices received, once agreed by the Chairman
- Ensure that the Finance Policy is followed, relevant and up-to-date
- Liaise with all investment companies and other partners (bank/accountants)
- Present reports for quarterly trustee meetings and AGM to include an up-to-date spreadsheet giving the current financial situation
