The Solent Seascape Project is a collaborative innovative restoration project looking at restoring seagrass, saltmarsh, native oysters and coastal bird habitats. As part of the Solent Seascape Project, this role involves using a range of methods to raise awareness and appreciation of the Solent's marine habitats and its wildlife.

Tasks involved in this role:

  • Reaching out to local communities through events, shows and social media, gathering fascinating facts and inspiring stories to share with others.
  • Manning stalls at events, helping hold workshops or talks and generally championing our key messages to individuals and communities of the Solent to encourage positive behavioural change towards these habitats.
