We are looking for volunteers to support the main carer attending the Creating Memories sessions at Parkside Pavilion.
The program of events will be flexible to cater to the interests of our clients.
Activities include singing, dancing in the chair, games, and jigsaw puzzles.
We also host themed events; for example, a colour-themed session where participants wear yellow, sing songs about yellow, and enjoy related activities like eating bananas.
Skills
We need volunteers who are creative, artistic, capable of preparing healthy snacks, and enthusiastic about making each session enjoyable and fulfilling.
Experience or interest in dementia care is highly desirable.
