We have a coop for our gorgeous chickens, lots of space for messy play and even an outdoor hand washing station to ensure we are following hygeine standards. The role You will work as part of a close-knit team that supports one another and shares a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children. * Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities. * Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS. * Building warm and trusting relationships with children and their families. * Observing children's progress and helping to plan their next steps. * Supporting children's personal care and daily routines. * Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment. * Working closely with colleagues to provide consistently high-quality care. Working hours This is a casual contract where you would not have set days or time but would be required to help out during staff shortages, for example, when we have staff on holiday, long term sick and so on. The shifts offered would be between 7:30am to 6:30pm, with appropriate breaks, any day from Monday to Friday. There may be some weeks where we request you work everyday and some weeks where we only need you to cover lunch breaks, therefore the contract is a zero hours contract. What we are looking for We would love to hear from someone who is: * Honest, reliable and hardworking, with a positive attitude. * Passionate about caring for children and supporting their development. * Kind, patient and nurturing in their approach. * Friendly and confident when communicating with children, parents and colleagues. * Happy to work collaboratively as part of a small team. * Committed to safeguarding children and providing the highest standards of care. Any appointment will be subject to the necessary safer recruitment and safeguarding checks. What we offer We believe that staff who feel supported and appreciated are best placed to provide excellent care. We are a friendly company that genuinely cares about our employees, the children in our care and the families who place their trust in us. Our benefits include: * A relaxed and practical casual dress code. * A supportive working environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. * The chance to grow with a young nursery and play a meaningful role in its future.
