Ivy Technology is a leading global electronics repair and service provider to many of the world's largest tech, medtech & telecom companies. We are seeking talented and motivated Repair Technicians to join our team based in Coventry (Cross Point Business Park). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary and benefits program.
As our Repair Technician you will use your technical expertise to perform diagnostic testing and total repair of electronic units/devices.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out tasks related to testing, device diagnosis and/or component replacement at the module level.
- Carry out the tasks entrusted by the immediate superior on the basis of job instructions and appropriate training.
- Participate in the process of continuous improvement of the service of the repaired product.
- Test and locate failures at the module level.
- Replace the diagnosed modules/components.
- Make decisions on further treatment of the repaired device.
- Help less experienced employees in the implementation of assigned tasks.
- Perform other tasks ordered by the Superior.
What we're looking for:
- Technical Education (preferably electronic or IT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the repair of electronic equipment.
- Proven competences in the field of electronics basics, component identification.
- Confirmed knowledge of the operated electronic equipment.
- Accuracy and reliability.
- Ability to effectively plan working time.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure of time and results.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Basic technical English (understanding the description of terminology used to describe faults).
- Basic computer skills and Word, Excel software from Microsoft Office.
- Ability to repair components at the module level.
