We are working with a large, well-established housing organisation to recruit a Treasury Accountant into their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing treasury function supporting a significant and complex debt portfolio. The role is suited to those wanting to grow early in their career.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant treasury accounting and reporting, supporting the organisation’s funding, debt, and financial risk activities. Working closely with the Treasury Manager, you will play a key role in financial reporting cycles, audit processes, and technical accounting across treasury transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on treasury accounting and reporting, including statutory disclosures and supporting schedules
  • Project manage the audit of debt instruments and funding programmes
  • Prepare journals, forecasts, and variance analysis related to treasury activities
  • Provide technical accounting advice on new treasury products and transactions
  • Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Maintain accurate records across finance systems and support system improvements
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors
