We are supporting a respected not-for-profit based in Central London to recruit a Programme Manager to lead a bold, organisation-wide transformation of their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver meaningful, strategic change that enhances digital engagement, improves member value, and elevates learning experiences across a national membership base.
This high-profile Programme Manager position will take ownership of a complex, cross-functional programme focused on improving CPD usage, accessibility and impact. Over 18 months, you will lead the programme from discovery through to full implementation, managing a variety of workstreams across content, digital, marketing, membership engagement and platform delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end CPD transformation programme across a 3-month discovery and 15-month delivery timeline
- Develop and own the programme roadmap, governance structure, risk management plan and reporting framework
- Oversee the implementation of a new CPD digital platform (LMS), ensuring user experience, accessibility and content strategy are central to the design
- Coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams including marketing, content, digital and membership engagement
- Drive stakeholder engagement internally and externally, including extensive member consultation
- Manage the programme budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and value for money
- Ensure effective supplier and vendor management for the platform implementation
- Deliver change management and communication plans to support adoption and long-term impact
About You
- Significant experience in programme management within L&D, CPD or education technology
- Demonstrable success leading cross-departmental transformation programmes from inception through delivery
- Expertise in implementing learning management systems or digital learning platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience with budget management, governance, and reporting at a senior level
- Knowledge of CPD frameworks and best practices
- Ideally PRINCE2, MSP or PMP certified
- Experience within a membership body, not-for-profit, or higher education environment is desirable
