Ivy Rock Partners are partnering with a large, well-established education institution in London to recruit an Interim Treasury Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex finance function, providing hands-on treasury support during a busy period and helping to ensure strong cash management and financial control across a multi-entity organisation.

This is a varied, hands-on treasury position supporting the day-to-day management of cash, banking and treasury operations.

You'll work closely with senior finance colleagues, ensuring the organisation maintains robust treasury controls while delivering accurate reporting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing daily and weekly cash position reporting and liquidity monitoring.
  • Preparing and maintaining short and medium-term cashflow forecasts.
  • Completing bank reconciliations and treasury journals.
  • Processing treasury transactions, including transfers, deposits and loan-related payments.
  • Managing banking administration, including mandates, user access and account maintenance.
  • Monitoring treasury policy compliance and escalating potential risks.
  • Coordinating banking queries
  • Supporting treasury reporting, audits and finance improvement projects.
  • Building strong relationships with finance teams and stakeholders across the organisation.

You'll bring

  • Previous treasury, cash management or corporate banking experience.
  • Strong experience of cash flow forecasting, reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An AAT, ACT or equivalent finance qualification would be advantageous.
