A social-purpose led organisation, supporting people from low-income households through the provision of vital technology and energy solutions is currently recruiting a Group Accountant. With headquarters in London, this organisation is seeking a finance professional to support the oversight of the financial operations across their multiple subsidiaries, and to support the Group CFO in the longer-term improvement of finance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes across the group function
  • Lead in the implementation of new finance systems and automation of finance processes where required
  • Undertake consolidation of group accounts including inter‑company reconciliations and balances
  • Support the CFO in the preparation of consolidated year‑end accounts
  • Implement company‑wide financial controls and policies to ensure compliance with different geographic regions
  • Ad hoc support across transactions including AP and AR

The role will be based in central London (hybrid working of 3 days per week in the office and the remainder up to you). Working hours c. 40 hours per week. Salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Eligibility & Experience

The role is open to candidates from finalist / newly qualified level through to experienced individuals; you will be happy to be hands‑on across group accounts and have a proactive approach to automation and improvement.
