Act as a trusted advisor to College and Service leaders, helping them understand and manage their financial position. Develop and maintain robust budgets, forecasts, and reports to drive informed decision‑making. Provide financial analysis, insight, and challenge to support efficient and sustainable service delivery. Ensure compliance and accuracy across all financial processes and reporting systems (including ABW). Support the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting across departments and colleges. Foster strong relationships across Finance, HR, and wider teams to enhance financial understanding and accountability. Contribute to continuous improvement in financial management processes and reporting tools.
About You
You’ll be a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong business partnering experience and a passion for collaboration. You combine analytical rigour with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non‑specialists. You bring:
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a complex organisation.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent Excel and data management skills, including report development and large data set analysis.
- The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and deliver results to tight deadlines.
