A Local Authority in Liverpool are currently recruiting a Procurement Business Partner to lead and influence the procurement support across Adult Social Care and Health. They will be expected to lead on specific strategic procurement exercises and support the development and delivery of service strategies and objectives.
The role will have a focus on supporting delivery of a strategic sourcing pipeline especially around social care contracts in open processes. A large part of the role will be building relationships with stakeholders to understand the service and their challenges as well as working with Commissioners.
Previous experience of procuring social care contracts is essential, whilst procuring services with TUPE transfers would be highly beneficial. We are ideally looking for those who have a commercial procurement qualification or are working towards one.
The Council offer hybrid working.
