  • Process staff expenses and company credit card transactions.
  • Support the processing of loan and grant payments.
  • Monitor the central Accounts team inbox, responding to queries and ensuring requests are dealt with promptly.
  • Prepare and enter payments through NatWest banking systems and Autopay.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are appropriately processed.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Finance and wider teams to support the smooth running of payment processes.
  • Provide additional support to the wider Finance team as required.

You will:

  • Have at least one year's experience working within a finance or accounting environment, ideally with exposure to accounts payable or payment processing.
  • Have a good understanding of financial transactions and payment processes.
  • Be familiar with banking and cash management systems.
  • Possess strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365, and ideally have experience using NetSuite or another accounting system.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Be well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Be comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to resolving queries.
  • Be self-motivated, reliable and comfortable handling confidential financial information.

What's on offer:

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • 28 days' annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Supported training and development budget
  • Cycle to work scheme
