Do you want to be part of making London the best city in the world?
The Greater London Authority (GLA) is the centre of government for London, serving both the Mayor and the London Assembly. The Mayor of London sets the budget and is responsible for making London a better place for everyone and the Assembly holds the Mayor and Mayoral advisers to account. The GLA itself plays a key role in delivering projects across Greater London over areas including Housing, Transport, Environment, Culture, Economy and Regeneration.
The Finance Modeller is a newly created role, which will work closely with their manager to support the development and assurance of the GLA Group’s future funding and infrastructure strategy. The role is responsible for producing robust financial forecasts, providing independent model assurance, and delivering advice and analysis to senior leaders in the GLA’s finance, policy and Mayoral directorates
To be suitable for this role you need to be a highly analytical individual with the ability to develop, maintain and assure financial models, supporting strategic decision‑making, business planning and performance forecasting. As well as strong modelling skills you will need the ability to challenge assumption and translate complex medium and long‑term financial information into clear, concise briefings. Exposure to supporting large scale development projects is highly desirable.
GLA offers a hybrid working environment.
The closing date is Monday 26th October.
