We are looking for a passionate Events Manager. This role involves planning and overseeing all converted events, then handing over detailed information to the site operations team. The aim is to deliver exceptional client feedback and secure future repeat business. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in one of the UK’s most-loved restaurant brands.
Key elements of your role as Events Manager:
- Full organisation of all event details relayed by the client
- Maintain constant communication with the client and ensure all details are noted and expectations are managed throughout the planning process
- Perfect the Events Questionnaire process to ensure all key information is captured
- Keep all event documentation up to date
- Meet clients on site, reviewing key logistics and ensuring all details are captured
- Sign off on final event details with the client
- Have a strong understanding of Food and Beverage offer, working closely with the operations team to achieve solid pre-event sales, leaving the final upsells to be achieved on site
- Upsell premium menus and wines to clients in a tasteful way to ensure the best guest experience
- Develop and negotiate partnerships with key suppliers and make recommendations to clients in order to produce unique events
- Responsible for BEO pack distribution and updates to sites
- Lead BEO weekly meetings and drive the team to achieve success with a clear handover to operations
- Responsible for feedback emails for all clients and taking action to rectify any negative feedback accordingly with the Senior Sales Manager and Head of Sales / and Head of Events and Sales
- Maintain strong relationships with the restaurant team to maximise revenue and optimise occupancy of the private dining space
- Attend networking opportunities with the senior sales manager and head of sales/head of sales and events to represent the brand
