Key elements of your role as Private Dining Room Manager
- Manage all private dining events, ensuring exceptional service from enquiry to departure.
- Build strong relationships with guests, corporate clients and event organisers.
- Work closely with the Events Manager to ensure all private dining bookings are accurately planned, communicated and executed.
- Review and fully understand all function sheets, ensuring every event requirement is communicated clearly to the restaurant, kitchen and bar teams.
- Maximise revenue by driving private dining sales and increasing occupancy.
- Lead, inspire and develop the team, maintaining The Ivy Collection's exceptional service standards.
- Ensure all function rooms are presented to the highest standard before every event.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews to continuously improve service.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, health & safety and company procedures.
- Act as the main operational contact during private dining events, ensuring smooth service and promptly resolving any issues
- Work collaboratively with senior management to identify new business opportunities and enhance the guest experience.
