A Goods Receiver oversees the restaurant's back of house deliveries, ensuring deliveries are well received, checked, and dealt with as soon as possible. You will manage the kitchen's delivery HACCP and report any shorted items while understanding professional kitchen health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as Goods Receiver or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of FIFO.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety.
  • Good communication and written English skills.
  • Ability to work well under your own initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Accept and check all incoming deliveries.
  • Report any missing items to the delivery driver and manager on duty.
  • Stock Rotation.
  • Recording delivery temperatures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
  • Follow instructions from the Senior Management.
